Liz is an experienced Registered Nurse who has spent the last 25 years working across various roles and specialties in and around North West England. Specifically, in Critical Care Liz developed a keen interest in the management of infection.
Liz’s expertise and passion in this area has helped her take on the challenging role of developing an OPAT service for Wythenshawe hospital in 2015.
Liz is a member of the British Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC) and sit on the BSAC OPAT Steering Group and was involved in the publication of the 2019 Good Practice Recommendations for OPAT in children and adults in the UK and regularly present at BSAC meetings and conferences advocating OPAT and novel ways of providing treatment.
