Parenteral Nutrition (PN) is the provision of nutrition intravenously, when it is provided at home it is referred to as Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN). There are different medical conditions that can impact the function of the digestive system which may require a person to have PN to meet their nutritional requirements. HPN enables people to be involved in school, work, sport and travel and live life how they want to.
